Inaugural Owen Lectures -1

The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Dr Michael Brown of Lancaster University at 10am on the subject of Richard Owen’s education as a surgeon and anatomist. He will particularly relate the education of Owen to discourses on emotion in Victorian surgery.
